On Saturday, Nov. 17, Connect for Health Colorado will open its physical and virtual doors for open enrollment. From November 17 to February 15, insurance seekers can shop and compare health plans, apply for tax credits, and take advantage of the Marketplace’s extensive, statewide assistance network of certified Brokers and Health Coverage Guides.

Connect for Health Colorado is the only place where Coloradans can apply for tax credits, and it’s available tools allow insurance seekers to compare plans side-by-side in an effort to make shopping for health insurance more convenient than ever.

Our team at OnSight is in our second year of work with Connect for Health Colorado and we are really proud of the Marketplace’s success and accomplishments.

During its first year, Connect for Health Colorado reached some impressive milestones.

• 138,978 Individuals and small businesses enrolled in health insurance, and more than 81,736 consumers received cost-saving tax credits.

• Online resources were largely glitch-free, and were available to consumers 99.9 percent of the time, leading to more than 2.8 million unique web visits.

• More than two thirds of calls placed to the Customer Service Center were answered within 20 seconds.

This year, Connect for Health Colorado has a few new and improved tricks up its sleeve to help consumers have the best possible shopping experience. To support online enrollment efficiency, the Marketplace will launch “Kyla”, a virtual assistant who can help customers through key steps of the enrollment process. Other key services include a Medication Look-Up Tool, which will enable customers to compare and contrast prescription coverage under different policies, as well as an enhanced Provider Directory to help customers ensure their preferred doctor or clinic is included in a plan’s network.
