We are pleased to announce that Jim Jonas has affiliated with OnSight as a strategic partner. Jim is a veteran communication and marketing consultant who has developed and managed effective messaging projects, campaigns and teams for more than 25 years.
Jim has worked with OnSight on several projects over the years, both as a client and as a consulting vendor, and he considers it “a great privilege to align myself with their talented team.”
In recent years, Jim has focused on helping independent candidates, projects and causes build attention, persuade support and win elections. He most recently served as lead consultant and manager on independent candidate Greg Orman’s high-profile campaign to represent Kansas in the U.S. Senate and continues to work with several national primary election reform organizations including the Independent Voter Network. He was a co-founder and CEO of Unity ’08 and was on the advisory board of Americans Elect in 2012, both efforts to put a competitive, bi-partisan ticket on the presidential ballot.
From 2000 to 2011, Jim was a partner at Peak Creative, a Denver-based creative services and marketing company that he co-founded and helped grow into one of the largest creative agencies in Colorado. He also previously served as vice president of marketing and communications at Rose Community Foundation and director of marketing and communications at the University of Colorado Foundation in Boulder.
Jim got his start in politics and public affairs as a writer and producer at Republican consulting legend Roger Ailes’ firm in both Los Angeles and Washington, DC. His past clients include Bush-Quayle ’92, Alexander for President ’96, the RNC, the NRCC and for many successful state, federal and local candidates, committees and causes.
A graduate of Guilford College and The Graduate School of Political Management now at The George Washington University, he’s won numerous recognitions including several Pollies, a Reed, an International IABC Gold Quill and was named a “Rising Star” by Campaigns & Elections magazine.
Jim will share offices with us in our new space in the Industry building, 3001 Brighton Blvd., #103, Denver, Colorado 80216.
