VELORAMA ANNOUNCEMENT

Client: Velorama/Colorado Classic

Date: March 2017

Project: OnSight planned and managed the press conference announcing Velorama Colorado — an entertainment experience that will be part bike race and celebration of bicycle culture, part music festival, part craft-goods marketplace. 

 Working with RPM Events Group, the RiNo Art District, Denver Flea and others, we produced an event that featured basketball Hall-of-Famer Bill Walton, Gov. John Hickenlooper, Denver City Council President Albus Brooks, Connie Carpenter Phinney (the first woman cyclist to win an Olympic gold medal and one of the most decorated female cyclists of all time), Colorado’s Bike Czar Ken Gart, and local food and drink vendors. The event announcement earned coverage from music, cycling and general-interest news media in Colorado and nationally.
